The Global Shapers Community, established by an initiative of the World Economic Forum, is a network of city-based Hubs developed and led by young leaders between 20 and 30 years old who want to develop their leadership potential towards serving society.
The Rome Hub consists of around 40 volunteers with different professional and academic skills, coming from various geographical areas, but united by a common desire to undertake local projects to improve their community. The Global Shapers Rome Hub main projects include youth engagement, sustainable development awareness, gender balance topics and active citizenship.
