Mikayil Tokdemir, Maison de l’Europe de l’Eure / EUROPE DIRECT Normandie Évreux

Mikayil Tokdemir is the Director of Maison de l’Europe de l’Eure / EUROPE DIRECT Normandie Évreux and Board Member of the Fédération Française des Maisons de l’Europe (FFME).

The Maison de l’Europe de l’Eure – EUROPE DIRECT Normandie Évreux has been active since 2009 and works daily to make Europe accessible and understandable for citizens. Through workshops in schools, public debates, citizen events, mobility support, and guidance on European opportunities and funding, the organisation helps people engage concretely with the European Union and understand how it impacts their daily lives. Mikayil Tokdemir has been part of the organisation since September 2015, developing projects focused on European citizenship, youth engagement, and democratic participation across the territory.

As a Board Member of the Fédération Française des Maisons de l’Europe,  Mikayil Tokdemir contributes to bringing together around 40 Houses of Europe across France and coordinates a network committed to promoting European citizenship, democratic participation, and public debate on European issues. At the national level, the FFME supports the development of joint actions, shared tools, and national outreach strategies to strengthen the visibility of Europe at the local level.
