Monika Slaninová represents the Europe Direct Banskobystrický región. The hosting organisation is the Rural Youth Parliament in Slovakia, where she is a board member. Her main duties include contact with civic society, non-formal education, raising awareness in civic engagement and project management.
Through her work, Monika also supports the organisation in implementing various national and international projects to promote European values and encourage citizens to engage in critical thinking and take the initiative, especially in rural areas.
Europe Direct Banskobystrický región is a member of the EUROPE DIRECT network in the Slovak Republic, which is a member of the pan-European group of centers. These centers make Europe accessible to all citizens and allow them to participate in debates about the future of the EU. You can contact us with questions about EU policies, programs and priorities and join events on the future of the EU. We also visit schools where we organise presentations and discussions about the EU and provide official publications.
