New initiative registered: ‘European Public Social Network’

On 4 March, the European Commission registered a European citizens' initiative entitled ‘European Public Social Network’.

The initiative invites the Commission to establish, through a legislative act, “a public social media platform at the European level”.

The initiative organisers have six months to open the signature collection.
