Pulse of Europe is a movement of European civil society - non-partisan and independent. As a network of committed citizens, we are united by a common conviction despite our diverse political and social positions: We need a united, democratic Europe for a future of peace, freedom and prosperity. This is what we are working for - voluntarily, diversely and together. Let's be the Pulse of Europe!
#1 Our self-image: We see ourselves as a network of European citizens who stand together for a democratic, value-based and solidary European community. We do not pursue party-political interests and consciously unite many people with different political attitudes under our roof. We are not beholden to any interest group and finance our work exclusively from donations and project-related grants.
#2 Our motivations: We believe in Europe. Even and especially at a time when positions are rapidly coming to a head, social camps are increasingly irreconcilably opposed to one another, and unexpected crises are constantly presenting politics and society with new challenges. We are not only Germans, French, Czechs or Spaniards - we also see ourselves as Europeans!
#3 Our goals: What unites us all is our belief in the European idea and the conviction that we citizens must become active for a sustainable, united Europe. We do this with a variety of actions and projects - primarily in Germany, but also in numerous other EU countries: From demonstrations rallies, to poster campaigns, to living room discussions. We are the pulse of Europe!
