The European Citizens’ Initiative helps bring the causes EU citizens care about to the EU level, spark a debate, raise awareness and trigger policy change in the EU!
On 3 May 2022 participants had the opportunity to learn how this unique tool of participatory democracy can help people have their say in the EU and promote the causes that matter to them.
Initiative organisers shared their stories and experiences of running a European citizens’ initiative and answered questions. ECI experts presented the main steps of the ECI journey and the support available for organisers.
