Aufgabe der EBI-Botschafterinnen und -Botschafter ist es, das Instrument bekannter zu machen, den Dialog zu fördern und Menschen den Mut zu geben, sich für Anliegen einzusetzen, die ihnen wichtig sind. Die EBI-Botschafterinnen und Botschafter wirken ehrenamtlich.
Sie arbeiten für die verschiedensten Organisationen auf europäischer, nationaler und regionaler Ebene, aber sie haben alle etwas gemeinsam – Expertise im Bereich der partizipativen Demokratie und das gemeinsame Ziel, mehr Menschen zur aktiven Beteiligung an der Politik zu ermutigen.
