Les ambassadeurs et ambassadrices de l’initiative citoyenne européenne contribuent à faire connaître l’initiative, à stimuler le débat et à permettre aux citoyens de l’UE de s’investir dans une cause qui leur tient à cœur. Ils exercent leurs activités de manière bénévole.
Provenant d’un large éventail d’organisations européennes, nationales ou régionales, ils ont l’expérience de la démocratie participative et poursuivent le même but: encourager les citoyens à participer à l’élaboration des politiques.
