Csaba Madarász has more than 20 years of experience in strengthening democratic systems, from local to EU level. He is a co-founder of aHang (founded in 2017), a campaigning organisation and an online petition platform, and president at Digital Community Tools Foundation. At aHang he serves as a CTO (Chief Technology Officer) and works on strategic and innovation topics.

Csaba’s activities in open government and digital democracy cover both the academic and the non-profit sectors. Although he has experience working with different state institutions in Hungary and the EU, he mostly serves the unsupported areas of direct, participatory democracy in Hungary.
